Training Management & Records System (TMaRS)

In accordance with OP 03.06 WORKPLACE SAFETY, all safety-related training and the completion of such training by Covered Persons must be entered and tracked centrally in the University’s Training Management and Records System (TMaRS). This system is maintained by ITS and designed to manage both required and optional training, ensuring compliance and consistency across the university.

Please note that the TMaRS system is still under development and is scheduled for release this Fall (2024). At that time, we will provide more detailed information and guidance on its use. Until the TMaRS system is fully operational, departments are advised to maintain records of all safety-related training internally and continue tracking training with Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) using the existing Workshops Database provided by ITS.
